A day trip from Rome to Florence made easy. Are you planning your vacation to Rome and wonder if you have time to visit Florence? The two cities are in close proximity and Presto can organize your day trip for you. The tour price includes roundtrip train tickets, a private Presto Tour guide for the day who meets you in Rome, spends the day with you in Florence and then heads back to Rome with you in the evening.
We visit the not-to-be-missed sites of this gorgeous Renaissance city. Highlights during the day include: The Duomo or Florence Cathedral (which took 140 years to build!), the famous Ponte Vecchio (the oldest bridge in Florence), the Uffizi Gallery (where Botticelli's Birth of Venus and numerous other works are housed) and the Accademia Gallery (home of Michelangelo's David). In the afternoon we will break for a leisurely lunch at a delectable Tuscan restaurant of your choice. Your Presto Guide knows the city well and can recommend a quaint restaurant off the beaten path where you'll be sure to eat well. The trip meets in Rome at 8 AM and our Presto Tour Guide will have you back in Rome at approximately 8 PM, just in time for dinner.
