Rome City Tour

This evening tour brings the fascination of this enchanting city to your fingertips. Relish in the sights, sounds, culture and history of the streets of Rome. We will visit Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, the base of many local art vendors and the home of three famous fountains (the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Barcaccia Fountain and the Trevi Fountain), the Pantheon, Largo Argentina and the Spanish Steps in Piazza di Spagna. Discover the hidden gems among the more well-known tourist attractions as you learn the history and cultural relevance of Rome's iconic landmarks.

The Rome City Tour will satiate your quest for Roman culture. Once home to public executions, Campo de' Fiori is now the site of a premium open air market by morning and a mecca for food, socializing and entertainment by night. We will make our way through Piazza Navona where you can relish in the live street performances and peruse the local artists' kiosks. Along the tour, our guide will share historical insights into various highlights along the way: the Fountain of the Four Rivers and its symbolism, Largo Argentina and its crucial role in Julius Caesar's assassination, and the Cat Sanctuaries with its inspirational no-kill shelter. We will visit the Pantheon, one of the best preserved Roman buildings, and understand its role throughout history. Revel in the picturesque backdrop of Piazza di Spagna with Barcaccia Fountain and its legendary Spanish Steps − the longest and widest staircase in Europe. The tour concludes at the Trevi Fountain: be sure to bring a coin to toss into the fountain!
