Our food and wine expert will start our tour strolling a local market and learning about different foods that are available in season. A market that is frequented by some of Rome’s best chefs and cooks on a daily basis in order to buy the best, freshest and most in season produce of the day. Learn about the history and culture of the Roman and Laziale kitchen.
Some incredible street food including pizza al taglio, Rome’s best café, and of course some of the culinary treasures of the jewish quarter, which gave Rome it culinary roots. We will of course finish our tour with gelato. Roman fritti, Rome’s best biscottini, and depending o the season, a chance to taste the famous carciofi alla giudia.
This tour should help anyone from a novice to a food expert become more comfortable navigating one of cuisine in the world. Food available is based on seasons, cost of tour about €10-€15 a person (depending on how much you eat!!)
